Kidz zone welcome you to come and spend the 2024 summer holidays with us at Hornsey Lane Community Association. Where we aim to have the holidays bursting with creativity and adventurous memories that will have you excited to share your wonderful memories with peers as you return to school in September. This programme will give you an outline of the activities on offer, where many of the activities have been chosen by some of the children attending playscheme. There is subject to change however we will certainly keep to the programme as best as we can, and the days will always be filled with loads of things to keep you busy and most importantly to enjoy your time with us at Kidz zone. The provision is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday from 22nd of July to the 30th of August 2024. Bank holiday days the centre will be closed.
All children are entitled to a free lunch and children are welcome to bring a packed lunch or some healthy snacks as it can be a long day. On most days we are out and about, having fun, making new friends so a water bottle it vital for the day. Water is always provided in the centre, but we will be on the move most days. Some trips do require a small contribution of no more than £10 but this will be discussed prior to the day of the and parents will be notified.
Activities include workshops delivered by qualified professionals, green walks, cinema, bowling, a trip to Brent Cross beach, playing in parks and picnics. We will have lots of fun playing football, dodgeball, swimming, boxing club fun, table tennis, arts and crafts and cooking many healthy dishes. We will also be providing indoor games, appropriate games on the iPad, planting, Tshirt designing and so much more to keep you busy.
Weekly Programme
For all trips, please provide your child with a small rucksack, bottle of water, rain jacket, sun cream, sun hat and sensible shoes.

Holiday Play Scheme Payment All children are to be booked onto the play scheme days that are required by emailing administration@hleca.org.uk or Saala.Clarke@hleca.org.uk , to avoid disappointment as the play scheme can become full.
Parents and Carers are responsible for checking which days and times the Play Scheme will be leaving on Trips. Please note that activities may subject to change due to the weather or staffing We advise that children attend the Play Scheme with: A small rack sack / Suitable Shoes / Light Rain Jacket / Pack Lunch / Sun Cream and of course Clothes that can become mucky whilst having fun.
At Kidz Zone we provide an environment that is fun, caring and safe for your children. We expect the children and adults to respect the club also each other, and we will not tolerate unacceptable behaviour in any of its forms of degree. Our behaviour policy is available for registered parents to read.
